MANAGER'S MATCH REPORT FOR Cranes(1) AGAINST DEBDEN FC(1)

Bruno goal scorerWe won this game by a lonely goal scored by Bruno Mwassanje very early in the 1st half. He swang in a well guided cross that took their goal keeper by surprise and the ball ws in the next before he knew.

We had an unusual line up; Fred Kalyango was assigned the goal keeping role which he did satisfactorily by keeping a clean sheet. The right and left full backs were Dennis Mahadha and Alex Mugisha, Douglas Mukasa and Ismail Bukenya were our central defenders, in the midfield we had Gilbert Lubega, Matthew Isengoma, Bruno Mwassanje and Bright Wahab, on the striking line we had Eric Mbassa and Musa Mubiru. On the bench was Jimmy Paito Kasuuku, Jimmy Kasasira and Nicholas Seruwu.

We played a well organised game both in our defence and our midfield, but we lacked an extra sharpness that would have won us the game in the first half. In the whole 90 minutes we had 5 or 6 clear chance of keeper to beat...ba we couldn't convert them.

As usual we had our displine level good and we had the patience to play our game of control, movement and passing and very many time we got to their 18 yard box very fast...we created numerable chance to go ahead with a bang, but were unable to due to the lack of that killer instinct. In the end we had very many positives we took from the game
Mubiru was injured and Nicholas came in for him at the start of the second half in a defensive role, so Dennis moved upfront into a striking role and he missed 2 clear cut chances only with the goal keeper to beat. Kasasira came in fro the injured Douglas who had sustained a cut above his right eye midway the second half.

I would like to say though that our official this time round left alot to be desired. For every small tackled we made he gave them several free kicks, and for the obvious tackles they made against us he would say " I didnt see that" so we noticed that he had a selective eye...and that was one of the draw backs of the game.

This win puts us at the very top of the table.
Lets keep our displine, commitement and desire.
